Under the mountain

We have been reading under the mountain and I thought it was a great book. I think Maurice Gee found somthing inside kids by relating to them really well.

Harry Potter night

Our class has been fundraising to go on camp Totranui and to help we have organized an completed a Harry Potter night. On Friday we were all ready, dressed up in Harry Potter outfits I was a Dementer with 3 cloaks on a torn a black hood and a black thing over my face. We did a Quiz had nice food and drink played games had a mean time and made cash.

Air Guitar

Our class has been going round getting sponsors and we have raised $812 and now it's time forthe event. We have a smoke machine all ready and the school is ready to rock so watch out New Zealand record Central is Gunning.

Road safetey

Constable John Donavon definitleyt prepeared us for biking to intermeidiate and might of even prepeared me for my driving liscence. I now know all the road rules, R1 Turning left always give way, R2 turning right giveway to staight, R3 If no other other rules aply if some one is on your right you must give way, R4 Manners. It was agood day on our bikes but I got sunburnt.

Basketball reps

I been called up as a sub for the a rep team. It was a long trip to Blenheim but it was great fun we absolutely smashed the first to teams we played but we came up against a under 13 rep player he was really good he tricked like a washing machine. The third game was alto closer and the forth game for a moment we were losing which was really scary but we came back to win it and in the end we smashed every team and had foot long Pork riblet Subs to celebrate well me Lachie Toby Kyle and Ben.R did Ben.w had an Akaba kebab Ben you missed out on something!

Rubber Racing

Our topic was displaying potential energy and kinectic energy we had all built or tried to build rubber band cars and now we were going to race them. It was the trinity hall but rather than the usual assembly set up every one was grouped around a drag track . The first car was a great success going a fair way down the hall. Before long it was my go. My car went an exhilarating 7 meters but only got given 4 because it had three turning meters. Then came Bianca and her car was supreme It went straight down the long hall crashing into the end "holy cow"! Bianca blitzed the race and gained a great win . So its back to the drawing board for our dagster. We learnt a lot about forces and how they work. Like the rubber band is bursting with potential energy.

Soccer R7 footballing nation vs R1.

In the first game R7 my class went 1 nil up 2 nil up until the great retaliation from R1 2-1 2-2 oh no. But game 2 was the real thriller just before the break R1s Thomas scored and absolute ripper of a long shot. Dave the ref called a minute to go. 30 seconds later I went round Josh and took a shot It hit Jackson then Thomas then the back of the net we hit each other in huge tackles we had pulled the draw out of the jaws of defeat.

Holidays

In the holidays I went skiing at Cardrona. On the first day I broke my thumb which was sore so I couldn't ski. It was really fun going down the Whitestar which was full of jumps and grinds It was an advanced slope.

Ducky day

"Come outside and see this now" Quinn said. "Holy cow that duck is one fat duck" people chanted. We went up to it snap snap snap. As we walked off it followed us, 'hay this is weird It likes us', 'or It wants to kill us'. Luke crept up behind it and splat ohhh everyone went inside.

Holidays

In the holidays I had an awesome time. We went to Dunedin for the first week that was pretty good. As soon as we got home we were of to Auckland. We went to Rainbows End they had a new ride the invader and we did all good old rides as well. In Waiheke were Nana and Grandad live we were going down the super steep hill at about 50kmh the only down side of that was all the cuts. We made a bibawack and slept in it for the night I was really srewed when we got home the day before school.

Class

In class we have been doing lots of interesting stuff but mainly a ton of writing. We have done writing about "The Cay" which is and interesting book to read also we have written about our Cable Bay Camp, Tryathalon and swimming sports.

Camp

We had camp last week at Cable Bay. The highlight was definitely the Paintballing I was lucky enough not to get hit but the people who did were in pain. It was realistic and very very very very very very etc etc etc fun. We had a steep walk up Peppin island and back down but it was not that long.

Camp

We are going on camp tomorrow it is going to be awesome. Paintball first the a tasty barbecue. Next day an early morning and a walk up Pepin island.

New blog

The Cuz blog will be a cool blog and will get new posts throughout the year.

Room7 2010

Room7 2010 is an awesome class and lots of fun. We have a cable bay camp this term we will be doing paintball as well. In term 4 were hoping to go to Wellington we have a lot of money to go. It's going to be a great last year at primary for me.

Tryathlon

We had our school tryathlon on tuesday. It was tonns of fun we had the run then the swim then the bike. I came forth and was exausted but I wanted to do it again and come in the top three. Ben.w came 1 infront curse you Ben.
